SPECIAL EVENTS NOTICE:
Our beloved pastor for 19 years, Brother Mickey Fountain, passed away in March of this year. He is missed dearly by our church family, the bluegrass community, and so many others.
August 16, 23, and 30, 2026
Our pastoral search committee was blessed with over a dozen applicants to interview for the position of our new pastor.
At this time, FBCPB would like to invite you to our Sunday services (morning and evening) on August 16th and 23rd, as we hear the Word preached by Pastoral Candidate Tim Byrd.
Our search committee would encourage each of you to come and hear all his sermons and meet the Byrds. We also ask for prayer for the Byrds and our church as we move into a new season.
At 4:00 pm on the 16th, there will be a meet-and-greet in the Activity Center with finger foods and refreshments.
Member vote for a call to preach will be on Sunday, the 30th, after morning worship. Thank you! We hope to see you here.

Annual Church Homecoming
(First Sunday in October each year.)
Miss Lillian, one of the fiounding members of FBCPB, will address the congregation with the history of our church.
We will also celebrate Old Fashion Day on Fashioned. Attendees are encouraged to participate in our Old Fashioned Day on the 4th, as well. We reach back to the old days of preaching and supper on the ground afterward. Period clothing optional/encouraged.
